“ANIMAL GROSSOLOGY” is an exciting and uniquely educational exhibition based on the best-selling GROSSOLOGY series of books written by science teacher Sylvia Branzei. Grossology is science in disguise, using imaginative interactive exhibits and animated characters set in a virtual 3-D animal world. Behind every exhibit is a concept presented in humorous yet scientifically accurate content.
The exhibition is made up of a Gallery Entrance and 15 individual exhibit modules with multiple activity stations. This visually exciting hands-on exhibition requires between 5,000-6,000 sq. ft. with a minimum ceiling height of 10' (most exhibits are 8' high). Many of the exhibits have an oversized graphic book wall that provides educational information emphasizing key science facts. These glob-shaped factoids are positioned on both the front and back sides of each book wall.
Visitors not only have an entertaining experience, they involve themselves through educational interaction in the process. And that’s precisely the idea– it’s educational, it’s fun and it’s gross!
